CASE Course Lists - This section of the College of Arts and Sciences academic bulletin allows students and advisors to see what courses carry which CASE designations (A&H, N&M, S&H, DUS, GCC, etc.) in any given semester. In addition, this tool can also show whether a CASE designation has been granted at the course-wide level or only at the topic level.
College of Arts + Sciences Bulletin-The bulletin is a roadmap that provides students with the information they need to make the most of their undergraduate education and to graduate from the College in a timely manner with a broad-based liberal arts degree. It is the official source of information regarding degree requirements, rules and regulations, programs of study, courses, and opportunities within and outside of individual schools, departments, and programs.
The NSO advisor may use a profile they have access to in CHER to submit this major change, if they do not have access to the profile normally used in CHER to declare the new major.
Do not declare a second major for the student. Students should wait until week 1 of classes or later to declare a second major in the College. Students must wait until after they successfully complete their first semester to declare a second concurrent degree.
You may use CHER to declare a minor inside the College. Please do not help the student declare a minor outside of the College. Students should wait until week 1 of classes or later to declare a minor outside the College using the College's student portal.
Major changes outside the College

Advisor usesExplore Programs website to help the student plan and register for first semester courses.
Regarding requests to change to pre-BUS:
Advisors are encouraged to check the student's AdRx notes to see if the student has been previously denied by Kelley. Students who were denied a change to BUS or pre-BUS during the application process are not able to request the change to pre-BUS again during NSO.
Please recommend the student emailbschool@iu.edu to request access to the petition to change to pre-BUS. The student will be informed within a few days whether their request to change to pre-BUS has been approved or denied.
Please do inform the NSO shift supervisor of the student's intent to change to pre-BUS.
At orientation, the student must enroll in a full schedule of classes appropriate for their current major, or for a non-Kelley alternative major.
Students approved to change to pre-BUS will receive outreach from AMES to adjust their fall schedule.
Seethis flowchartthat explains the process of changing to pre-Business.
