This document is intended to assist College and AMES academic advisors with directing students to the appropriate process to accomplish common transactions related to a student’s degree seeking status and academic objectives. [2024-06-10, OUCPR/JG]
The following situations are addressed:
- Students in Good Academic Standing, Academic Watch, or Academic Alert AND who have term activation* for the current or a future term
- Returning students not in Academic Dismissal who do not have term activation* for the current or a future term
- Students in Academic Dismissal
- New students during New Student Orientation (NSO)
* How do you know if a student is term activated? Through the SIS Administrative Center, pull up the student’s records. Click the “Academics” tab (NOT “Academics 2”). Look under “Term Summary” to see if there is an active current or future term listed.
