Following are several student-facing templates you may use when replying to prospective transfer student inquiries. The transfer credit review is a huge benefit for external transfers, but intercampus transfers are welcome to attend the admissions presentations as well. This will connect them with a transfer admissions person who can answer any questions they have about that process.
Prospective Transfer Student Support
- Register for a Transfer Tuesday (in-person) or Virtual Transfer Talk with IU admissions here: https://admissions.indiana.edu/visit/transfer-visits/index.html
- You will learn about the process of transferring to IU and all that the campus has to offer.
- A Transfer Admissions Representative will offer a credit transfer review (you can send either official or unofficial transcripts).
- Once you send these, they will offer you a meeting with an academic advisor, which will ultimately provide a far more informed conversation.
