Application for Establishment of Foreign Language Proficiency for International Students who are Non-Native Speakers of English

This application can be completed and submitted by international students whose native language is not English for the purpose of determining whether they have fulfilled the foreign language requirement through demonstrated proficiency in their first language.

You will receive information about your application via email. If your application is approved, the College will notify the Office of the Registrar and the IUB General Education program that your language requirement is satisfied.

Proficiency demonstrated through this process will not result in special credit.
